The kit consists of a flow through µ-Slide, tubes, and adapters for use in flow assays, especially with upright microscopes

Permits easy connection to existing equipment

Analysis of adherent cells under flow conditions
Cell culture under both static and stop-flow conditions

NOTE:

Choosing the Right Channel for Flow Applications
For flow assays employing the smallest volumes and high values of shear stress:
use a 0.1 or 0.2 mm channel

For wide ranging shear stress values:
use a 0.4 mm channel

For controlling low values of shear stress
(< 2 dyn / cm²): use a 0.6 or a 0.8 mm channel

Static Cultures versus Flow Applications

Low walled channels are more suitable
for flow applications.
High walled channels are more suitable
for static cell culture.
