1.滚动轴承摩擦系数滑动轴承小,传动效率高。一般滑动轴承的摩擦系数为0.08-0.12,而滚动轴承的摩擦系数仅为0.001-0.005;2.滚动轴承已实现标准化、系列化、通用化,适于大批量生产和供应,使用和维修十分方便;3.滚动轴承用轴承钢制造,并经过热处理,因此,滚动轴承不仅具有较高的机械性能和较长的使用寿命,而且可以节省制造滑动轴承所用的价格较为昂贵的有色金属;4.滚动轴承内部间隙很小,各零件的加工精度较高,因此,运转精度较高。同时,可以通过预加负荷的方法使轴承的刚性增加。这对于精密机械是非常重要的;5.某些滚动轴承可同时承受径向负荷和轴向负荷,因此,可以简化轴承支座的结构;6.由于滚动轴承传动效率高,发热量少,因此,可以减少润滑油的消耗,润滑维护较为省事;7.滚动轴承可以方便地应用于空间任何方位的轴上。安装满装滚针轴承,通常是利用辅助套筒进行的。这时,辅助辊或辅助套筒托住滚针不使滚针掉出,轴颈以其自身的倒角将滚针掀起,随着滚针轴承在轴颈上向里缓缓移动,辅助辊或辅助套筒便慢慢退出,直至装到工作位置为止。辅助辊、辅助套筒的外径应比轴直径小0.1―0.3mm。安装时,先将轴承外圈内表面涂以润滑脂,靠紧内表面贴放滚针(放入后一根滚针时应留有间隙),接着把代替轴颈或轴承内圈的辅助辊或辅助套筒推入外圈孔内,并使其端面对准安装轴端面或已安装在轴上的轴承内圈端面,然后用压力机或手锤敲打施加压力。滚针轴承也可以这样安装,即将辅助套筒外径涂一薄层润滑油,套入轴承外圈,使辅助套筒和轴承外圈构成一个环形孔,然后再于环形孔中装滚针。装完滚针之后,用工作轴将辅助套筒推出即可。对于无内圈或无外圈的滚针轴承,在安装时,可先将轴或壳体孔的滚动表面涂一薄层润滑脂,并把滚针依次紧贴于安装部位的润滑脂上。贴放后一根滚针时应留有间隙,间隙的大小在滚针轴承的圆周上以0.5mm为宜。不能把后一根滚针硬挤装进去,或者少装一根滚针,因为硬挤装时,轴承会被卡死不能旋转;少装时,间隙过大,易造成轴承运转时滚针发生扭摆和折断。对于只有冲压外圈的滚针轴承,由于外圈壁很薄,不滚针轴承要用手锤敲打安装,应使用压力机压入。因为手锤敲打时,压力不均匀,容易使滚针轴承的外圈产生局部变形。

当前我国轴承行业主要面临三大突出问题:分别是行业生产集中度低、研发和创新能力低、制造技术水平低。

一,行业生产集中度低。在*轴承约300亿美元的销售额中,世界8大跨国公司占75%~80%。德国两大公司占其全国总量的90%,日本5家占其全国总量的90%,美国1家占其全国总量的56%。而我国瓦轴等10家大的轴承企业,销售额仅占全行业的24.7%,前30家的生产集中度也仅为37.4%。
  第二,研发和创新能力低。全行业基础理论研究弱,参与标准制订力度弱,少原创技术,少专产品。
  当前我们的设计和制造技术基本上是模仿,产品开发能力低,表现在:虽然对国内主机的配套率达到80%,但高速铁路客车、中高档轿车、计算机、空调器、高水平轧机等重要主机的配套和维修轴承,基本上靠进口。
  第三,制造技术水平低。我国轴承工业制造工艺和工艺装备技术发展缓慢,车加工数控率低,磨加工自动化水平低,全国仅有200多条自动生产线。对轴承寿命和可靠性至关重要的*热处理工艺和装备,如控制气氛保护加热、双细化、贝氏体淬火等覆盖率低,许多技术难题攻关未能取得突破。轴承钢新钢种的研发,钢材质量的提高,润滑、冷却、清洗和磨料磨具等相关技术的研发,尚不能适应轴承产品水平和质量提高的要求。因而造成工序能力指数低,*性差,产品加工尺寸离散度大,产品内在质量不稳定而影响轴承的精度、性能、寿命和可靠性

在一定载荷作用下,轴承在出现点蚀前所经历的转数或小时数,称为轴承寿命。

滚动轴承之寿命以转数(或以一定转速下的工作的小时数)定义:在此寿命以内的轴承,应在其任何轴承圈或滚动体上发生初步疲劳损坏(剥落或缺损)。然而无论在实验室试验或在实际使用中,都可明显的看到,在同样的工作条件下的外观相同轴承,实际寿命大不相同。此外还有数种不同定义的轴承“寿命”,其中之一即所谓的“工作寿命”,它表示某一轴承在损坏之前可达到的实际寿命是由磨损、损坏通常并非由疲劳所致,而是由磨损、腐蚀、密封损坏等原因造成。

为确定轴承寿命的标准,把轴承寿命与可靠性联系起来。

由于制造精度,材料均匀程度的差异,即使是同样材料,同样尺寸的同一批轴承,在同样的工作条件下使用,其寿命长短也不相同。若以统计寿命为1单位,长的相对寿命为4单位,短的为0.1-0.2单位,长与短寿命之比为20-40倍。90%的轴承不产生点蚀,所经历的转数或小时数称为轴承额定寿命
