The University wants a single-shaft gas-turbine jet engine with radial compressor and axial turbine, or equivalent. The turbine should be mounted on moving base with force sensor for thrust measurement, whose maximum thrust should be 82N at 117000 rpm. It should also have electric starter for full automatic start-up. Main Specifications主要技术参数 The Tunnel should be supplied as equipment with provision for visualisation of Mach lines and shock waves using Schlieren optics; continuously operating, open supersonic wind tunnel, low pressure principle; positive displacement fan with variable speed; interchangeable walls in the measuring section to produce velocities up to Mach1.8; and it should have drag bodies including but not limited to rocket, projectile, double wedge and wedge.
