Ultrasphere has been  manufactured by Hichrom Limited since Jan 2010 and is a classical silica which boasts a high performance reputation.In addition to the base silica (Si), four phases of 5μm particle size: 
 

• Ultrasphere C8: Octyl
• Ultrasphere C18: ODS
• Ultrasphere CN: Cyano
• Ultrasphere IP: Ion Pair

are available in standard columns sizes. Ultrasphere C8 and C18 are also available as 3μm particle size silicas packed into the XL High Speed Cartridge Columns.
